We believe in game development that makes you feel emotional impact , while you enjoy great, captivating and responsive gameplay.

That’s why in Vokabulantis everything you see is made by hand.

Fusing the unearthly possibilities of digital with the tactility of handcraft fuses adventurous reality with digital magic. Thus blending emotional impact and joy.

The game is a puzzle platformer that can be played as single player as well as co-op. We develop for a universal release potential in terms of platforms.

There’s no release date yet, since we are in early development, and generally you could

Vokabulantis is a puppet animation puzzle platformer about two kids. Karla and Kurt are friends, but now they have fallen in love and they literally can’t get a word out around each other. Thus they are forced to save the deteriorating and adventurous world of language — Vokabulantis.

IF they shall ever be able to express their love for one another that is.

We create world class puppet animation unlike what the world has ever experienced. And by technical and handcraft innovation, we allow for fully dynamic gameplay on top thereof.

Emotional Mechanics is the game design dogma we have set up. The characters’ emotional development throughout the game is reflected in new and surprising game mechanics and vice versa.

The characters are different, Karla is more sporty and outward and Kurt is the aloof and somewhat nerdy thinker and it turns out their basic differences are enhanced by the wordpower of Vokabulantis.

The visuals and filmic imagery of Vokabulantis is inspired by films of Tarkovsky, Svankmajer, Miyazaki and stop motion tradition in general. Games like INSIDE and Ori & The Blind Forest, Little Nightmares, The Cave, Forgotten Anne and Trine are inspirational both for gameplay and/or visual fidelity.
